2009 SMAC HEALTH FAIR

The Kinnelon Health Department will sponsor a SMAC Blood Screening/Health Fair Program in Spring of 2009 at the Kiel School on Kiel Avenue from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. 

Advance in person registration is required at the Board of Health office.
If you need an early morning appointment, please register early.  

Participants must supply the name, address and telephone number of their physician at registration time.  You will not be able to register without this information.

PSA Cost is $ 35.00

Each participant will receive the SMAC test which screens for 23 different factors, plus complete blood count (CBC), and HDL-LDL cholesterol.  This screening required a 12-hour fast from all food and drink.  If you’re on medication, and usually take it early in the morning, please take your medication with a small sip of water before the blood test. 

The Health Fair you will be able to get a massage, talk to a podiatrist about your foot problem, and speak with an eye care professional and many other interesting information booths.  There will be plenty of professionals to talk to about what ever your needs are.  So when you come in to have your blood taken, stay a while and have a good time.  We look forward to seeing all of you.
