No, only Kinnelon residents may.
- How do I dispose of Compact Fluorescent Bulbs?
Please call (973) 829-8006 for where to dispose of them.
- How do I dispose of latex paint?
Stir paint with kitty litter until it is no longer pourable then dispose in the garbage. The paint can should be brought to the Recycling Center.
- When is Bulk pickup?

- When is the Recycling Center open?
Mon & Tues 7am to 3pm, Sat & Sun 8am to 3:45pm.

- How Do I Register for Recreation Programs
On the recreation page, click the online-registration link. You will be brought to the Community Pass Registration Website. If you have not already, sign-up your family for an account and register online. No walk-up registrations permitted. All registration must be done on Community Pass. It's easy and fast!
- Can I play tennis at the Boonton Avenue Courts?
Yes. It is a first come, first serve schedule. We relay on your discretion to wait your turn. Tennis recreation program schedules (Fall and Spring) will be listed on the recreation webpage. The Kinnelon Recreation Tennis Courts are reserved during those times.
- Do you sign people up for swimming lessons at the lakes?
No, we have several private lake communities within Kinnelon. Kinnelon Recreation has nothing to do with the lakes in town except that we enjoy their beauty. If you go to the links section on the home page you will find lake communities web sites.
- Are your Recreation meetings open to the public?
Yes, the second Wednesday of the month at 8:00pm in Borough Hall. We welcome and respect all comments.
