Spring Recreation Registration is Now Open

Families can now log into their community pass accounts HERE to register for all spring sports 2020. When browsing activities choose the SPRING 2020 option. Following is a brief description of what is available as well as information regarding the process for baseball registration. BASEBALL: When you choose baseball for your child, the level that your child is eligible for is based on their age and will be the only option for registration at that time. The levels available are t-ball, rookies, minor and major league. Register and pay for the level that comes up for your son/daughter.  Any parent that wishes to move their child up or down a level, must write a letter and email it to the recreation department (email address above), you should also include a recreation or travel coach recommendation.

NEW SCHEDULE  GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Kinnelon High School Head Volleyball Coach Stephanie Finke will be holding a Volleyball Clinic for girls currently in 1st-8th grade. The clinic will be held 1 time per week (Tuesdays) at Stonybrook. 1st-4th grade will play at 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. (SB students in that age range can stay after school with a note in the cafeteria) 5th - 8th grade will play 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM beginning March 3 and ending May 5. If minimum group requirements are not met, groups may be combined.

SOFTBALL CLINIC: Kinnelon Recreation welcomes back Coach Marissa Bariso and her varsity players (Kinnelon High School Varsity Coach) for the popular pre-k through 1st grade clinic. This will be held on Saturday mornings beginning in mid-April.

BOYS (K and 1st grade) AND GIRLS (K-2nd grade) LACROSSE CLINIC: Registration is open for the Wednesday night-one hour clinics- These clinics will be conducted by professional trainers. Girls are scheduled from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, boys will follow 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the Municipal Lacrosse Fields behind town hall. Start date will be in April TBD. A NOTE regarding 2nd grade girls: training will be more advanced for this level to prepare them for league play next year. They will continue to learn valuable skills but also be introduced to game situations and scrimmages with other towns will be scheduled. A NOTE: regarding 1st grade boys: In addition to the Wednesday night clinic, our 1st grade boys will have the option to join the travel lacrosse program for additional practice and/or games with pad and helmets. More info will be sent out after registration concludes.

BOYS AND GIRLS LACROSSE: Signups are ongoing-please register ASAP. Late fees begin on February 15 for lacrosse.  Sign up for lacrosse at the BOYS AND GIRLS LACROSSE 2020 option.
