PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF PLANNING BOARD HEARING BOROUGH OF KINNELON ADOPTION OF THE BOROUGH’S 2026 AMENDMENT TO THE 2025 FOURTH ROUND HOUSING ELEMENT AND FAIR SHARE PLAN Please take notice that, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-13 of the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law (the ‘MLUL’), the Borough of Kinnelon Planning Board will hearing at ​7p.m. on August 6, 2026 to hear public comment on the adoption of the Borough’s 2026 Amendment to its 2025 Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan, which will amend the Borough’s Master Plan. After public comment, the Planning Board shall consider adoption of the 2026 Amendment to its 2025 Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan by way of resolution. The proposed  2026 Amendment to its 2025 Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan was prepared in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:55D-28(b)(3) of the MLUL and the mandatory requirements of a Housing Element under the recently amended New Jersey Fair Housing Act (P.L. 2024, c.2), relevant regulations of the New Jersey Council On Affordable Housing (“COAH”), and the Administrative Office of the Courts Directive #14-24. The  2026 Amendment to its 2025 Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan revises the Borough’s unmet need strategies. A copy of the proposed Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan of the Borough’s Master Plan, and any other relevant documents, will be on file for public inspection on or before ​July 27, 2026 in the Kinnelon Borough Hall, office of the Borough Clerk, 130 Kinnelon Road, Kinnelon, New Jersey 07405 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Any party interested in commenting on the  2026 Amendment to its 2025 Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan may do so at the hearing.
