The Kinnelon Police Department is NOT currently hiring or accepting resumes at this time. 

To apply for the position of Police Officer with the Kinnelon Borough Police
Department, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Be a citizen of the United States
• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalency
• Be of good moral character
• Be between the ages of 18 and 35
• Must have NO criminal history
• Must possess a valid New Jersey State drivers license
• Are required to possess 60 college credits or two years military experience
• Candidatents must possess a New Jersey Police Training Certified or be enrolled in an Alternate Route Program in a New Jersey Police Acadamey 

We HIGHLY recommend the alternate route program offered by the Morris County Police and Fire Fighters Academy, and DO hire alternate route trainees. Information on the alternate route program can be found by contacting the Kinnelon Police Department
